Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. Then, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd won her next match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-- - beat her to the TKO win in the second round. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the first round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant role. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
