Glen Larson, who had given her the initial draft script of a part in the tv show Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. The actress initially refused the part since the character did not seem to be strong enough. Glen created a completely brand new character, Sheba that was more strong. After she read the first 25 pages of story The Living Legend she accepted instantly. It ran for a single season. The show was cancelled after one season. Joyride (1977) which was a movie which she co-starred and performed in along with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
